The Residential Knox Box Program is provided to those in our community who are concerned about access to them or their property in the event of an emergency. This allows first responders to enter unassisted and a method of securing the residence when leaving. The benefits are quicker response into the residence and reduce stress and worry for the owner/occupant.
The Residential Knox Box Program is an extension of the Knox Rapid Entry System used now at commercial properties throughout the United States. This rapid entry system has been in use for over 30 years. Over 10,000 city and governmental agencies use the Knox Residential System.
This system is designed to assist fire departments in providing assistance to individuals of all ages. The Residential Knox System protects from forced entry damage and also provides for easily securing the residence when leaving.
Fire department has exclusive access to the box and will use the system only in the event of an emergency.
